•Characterized by the accumulation of round galet stones created during the flooding of the Quaternary period. This soil confers on the vines a regular, but moderate water source, essential to the quality of the grapes. The Mediterranean sun ensures excellent grape maturity and precocious harvest.
The vineyards are made up as follows :
the majority (67%) is Grenache and Syrah (10 hectares are over 35 years old)
24% of Mourvèdre and Carignan
9% is Merlot and Alicante.
The average age of the vineyards is 50 years.
• L’ensoleillement méditerranéen permet une excellente maturation des raisons et un ramassage précoce.

• L’exploitation se situe sur la commune de Bellegarde à 12 km au sud ouest de Nîmes et à 15 km au nord ouest d’Arles. Les activités de l’exploitation s’articulent de plusieurs cultures. La vigne constitue l’activité principale du domaine. Puis viennent les arbres fruitiers avec : les cerisiers, les pruniers, les abricotiers et enfin les oliviers.
